The Danish National Symphony Orchestra’s concert “The Duel” has been viewed more than 400 million times on YouTube — and now you have the chance to experience a brand-new version of the ultimate symphonic take on the brutal and gritty Wild West, live in the Concert Hall. Soloists: Mathias Heise (harmonica), Tuva Semmingsen and Christine Nonbo Andersen (vocals).
The Danish National Symphony Orchestra’ turns up the heat as the good, the bad, and the ugly face off once again in a symphonic duel of epic proportions, featuring Ennio Morricone’s legendary music from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, and A Fistful of Dollars, among others.
More than 400 million people have watched the videos from The Danish National Symphony Orchestra’s previous Morricone concerts, and now the orchestra returns with a fresh take on these iconic themes, performed live in the Concert Hall.
Joining them on stage are more than 100 performers from The Concert Choir and The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, along with the two singers who have given fans around the world shivers with their voices and signature whistling: Christine Nonbo Andersen and Tuva Semmingsen — also known as “The Wah Wah Lady.”
The evening’s special guest is award-winning Danish jazz musician Mathias Heise, who holds the distinguished title of World Champion of the chromatic harmonica.
